Dear members, fellow travelers,

BeWelcome is a hospitality exchange network that finances itself entirely by donations and requires about 1000 Euro a year to operate. This money goes towards server costs (720 Euro), banking fees and administrative costs. In our 2011/2012 budget we estimated an income of 1000 Euro through donations. Rather than becoming dependent on sponsorship from companies or institutions, we are hoping to find the necessary funds through member donations. Instead of begging every month for money in each Newsletter, we are hoping to collect all the donations in one go. This way we don't have to worry about the rest of the year, and we can again remove the annoying donation bar until next year.

How to donate? Our donation page will provide you with all the necessary information: http://www.bewelcome.org/donate . You can pay via bank transfer (our preferred solution) or use Visa, MasterCard or PayPal. Please be aware that we will have extra costs when you use PayPal, and that we are not necessarily happy about the way PayPal blocks accounts on political grounds.
