1. Call for application for the Be Active Campaign In just under two weeks we reached the 500 euro needed to fund the new Be Active Campaign. After the success of the fundraising drive, the Board of Directors (BoD) are now accepting activity proposals that comply to the Submission Guidelines. Submissions will be accepted until 1 December 2013. If you are an activity organiser or would like us to support your camp, hackaton or meeting let us know.

2. Democracy in action: BeVolunteer General Assemby 2013 BeVolunteer is the legal organisation running BeWelcome and is registered as a non-profit association in Rennes, France, since November 2006. The General Assembly(GA) is the democratic organ that governs the asociation. This years' GA will be held in Fürth, Germany the 2nd & 3rd November 2013. An online part is already ongoing, any BW member can see the forum and participate. Check out our GA wiki page as well.

3.Getting more from your search, finding inactive members We are constantly trying to improve the tools of our website, facilitating hospitality exchange. One of the recent changes was that we do not show by default members who have not logged in for more than 12 month and who have not responded to an email asking them to log in again. When looking for members you can activate an option that will let you find inactive members. Whether you are feeling adventurous, travelling in rural areas or unable to find any active members, you can now find them in the advanced search of the map search and choose Member status: All. This way you will most likely get more results. Just try it yourself. When looking for members in London for example, you will find 390 Active ones. If you select "All" you will get 544 hits.
