Caros voluntários, membtos e amigos do BeWelcome! Alguns de vós juntaram-se á nossa rede há poucos dias, outros viram-na crescer desde o início. Esses membros em especial poderão dar um passo atrás e reparar o quanto o projecto evoluiu desde o início.

BeWelcome: mais do que apenas alojamento gratuito Era o nosso sonho desde o início: queriamos construir uma rede capaz de mudar a vida e atitude das pessoas. Nos últimos meses muitos deram o seu contributo em discussões dando feedback valioso para nos ajudar a clarificar a missão do projecto e seus objectivos, o "como" fazer as coisas acontecer.

Encontrarmos a nossa própria identidade tem sido um processo importante e o novo logotipo BeWelcome, que representará o nosso projecto em reuniões online assim como ao vivo, é o resultado de muitas horas de dedicação ao trabalho, liderado e finalizado pelo nosso membro Micha.

Novas funcionalidades: aspecto e feeling

Passo a passo, irá descobrir mudanças no seu perfil e no site em geral. All of our 14 teams have only one aim: to make BeWelcome an exciting community to join and to work for.

- update your profile now and find a new structure, new features - use the invite a friend feature to tell others about BeWelcome - translate your profile into your own language: simply click on your preferred language on the bottom of the page before editing your profile (read our faq section for further information. By the way, BeWelcome is being translated into over 20 languages right now! - we want to warmly welcome members with disabilities and try to make it as easy as possible for them to use our network: in your profile settings you can chose if your home is suitable for guests with wheelchairs

Outlook: the next months Many of you are already or will soon go on holidays. The BeWelcome volunteers are there to welcome you back - with new features and important steps such as - the project code will be ready to be published under GPL licence - important software structuring will be finished - new tools will make it easier to work for and with BeWelcome - and much more

Skype meeting, 19th July, 9pm GMT/UTC+2 or CEST (Paris/Berlin time). We want to invite all the volunteers and those who are interested in working for BeWelcome to join this Skype meeting.
