General Assembly 2010
Location and Date
The General Assembly 2010 will take place in Rennes on 05th - 06th June, 2010.Suggestions for the agenda
- Formal ratification of BeWelcome-Servas collaboration.
- Potential updates to statutes as a results of the above point.
- BV membership management. (While preparing the GA it became obvious that we're not doing this very well.)

Candidates
- tgoorden (Thomas Goorden): I am a candidate for re-election (currently the chairman) because I feel the strong desire to help some of the new initiatives (specifically the Servas collaboration) reach a stable level. It is my wish that we will have an experienced, enthusiastic and active BoD next year that facilitates the continuation and improvement of all we have been working on the past years.
- matthias (Matthias Hess): I am a longterm member and volunteer for BeWelcome, active in development, testing, design and member support. Team building and communication between all involved people is still an important task for the next year. I also hope to see more people from outside of Europe getting active.
- sitarane (Julien Boyer) For those that don't know me, I'm an action-action kind of guy. Shoot first, talk later, which could be good to outbalance the "talk a lot, do nothing" phenomenon that plagues most democratic projects. I believe in open organization because I think it is the most efficient (yep, I said "efficient") on the long term. Not because I'm a free-software fanatic. more
- jilrev (Gilbert Revault): I am a candidate for re-election (currently the treasurer). I strongly support the BoD's initiative for the collaboration with Servas. I think that BW site, which is used at a low level by BW members, must be shared with Servas.
