edit (Pierre-Charles, Claudia) STARTED: http://www.bevolunteer.org/wiki/Advice_on_how_to_create_polls

The page already looks OK, but later on some more work would be good.

    7. check this report (Frank, Jean-Yves)DONE
    8. send reminder mail for GA date poll (Frank)DONE
  5. BeLocal (Pierre-Charles)

It's running. Working with Fabian.

* We may start soon with a first round: calling LV to participate (it will help to have first inputs and test slowly the things) and soon after calling BW members with a newsletter. Ok for a newsletter?

Too early for newsletter imo. Kiwiflave 18:11, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

* Have a look to what it will look like: www.bewelcome.org/wiki/BeLocal
* It's not decided yet if we'll use the BW wiki as main page or will put everything in the forum. There will be a static text linking to 8 detailled discussions. The idea to separate the topic in various discussions in to make it constructive (limitation+creativity), in the way that it will limit general talks/critics without wish/effort to help, and will help creativity since oriented to a specific aim. A problem may be that topics are not well defined, but we can always react and improve.
* I propose to open a category "BeWelcome citizen" which would be a place to discuss things about BeWelcome, and we'll specially start it with this BeLocal participative process. (I could write for pages about this conception of democracy: not vote once a while, but be a real actor of life).

I suggest to bring the project to the BW forum (if not done yet). Then, Micha and Philipp should be involved as soon as it s not only supposed to be an information page with text. Maybe I havent fully understood the idea of BeLocal yet, will read more about it :). Key factors: keep things simple and making sure it s really useful for members (event/kalendar/groups/...?)Kiwiflave 18:11, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
  6. Other
    1. GA
Date: 1st choice 7th-8th June
    2. Status of SSL certificate acquisition
no admin time available right now to proceed...
    3. Financial Status
The financial situation is quite serious, since we have to pay 500 Euro in the next two months for server rent. We basically need about 150 Euro per month.
    4. Profile Tab for CS profile
There are too many disadvantages right and legal implications to follow this idea right now. In the forum thread there was quite some criticsm on it, too
