About me
A bit about me...
I grew up in a myriad of places and come from a culture loving family, so culture exchange is a big deal to me. :) I'm no stranger to hospitality exchange: I have been very active on couchsurfing since 2007, as a host (and a traveller).
I love hosting people, and I want to host people from Bewelcome!
Make it easy for me to say "yes" to you by completing your profile, uploading pictures, and writing me a personal message. (You need to read my whole profile too!)
I'm just as happy talking to someone on a bus about countries of the world, as I am helping out my fellow human or bringing people together. People are the most important thing there is.
I love hosting grateful people. There's nothing better for me than knowing I have helped someone in a really genuine way.
Couchsurfer? Send me your CS profile too, so I can get a really good feeling about you.
There is no Bewelcome or CS. We are one travel community!

My interests
- Hobbies:
I like so many different things. On an informational level, I can keep myself happy learning about cars, bicycles, technology: guy stuff. And computers. I usually own at least 1 car, 1 bike and 1 computer.
In terms of activity: guitar (beginner), walking, ping pong (table tennis), badminton, gym, massage (I'm usually up for a massage exchange), talking to new people (and old friends), reading non-fiction, fiction, travelling.
I can teach you some things about downloading music. If you bring your own laptop, you can use my wifi here.
I have almost no interest in staying at bars or clubs late at night. It's something I rarely do.
I like to cook (healthy-ish)... but only if there are enough people to cook for. I really like it when couchsurfers pay for meals or things for the home. It's a good way to show you appreciate the free couch.- Books:
I like something with a story that gets stuck in your mind.
- Music:
I like a big big range of music.. rap, rock, pop, new music, old music, and pretty much everything in between. Basically I am open to most. I will try to give you an idea, with some that come to mind:
3 door down, Avril Lavigne, Bat for lashes, Beethoven, Bob Marley, Basshunter, Creed, Cascada, Cat Stevens, Citizen Cope, Counting Crows, Green Day, Jo Jo, Kanye West, La Roux, Leonard Cohen, Lifehouse, The Killers.
I think it reflects my personality... a big mixture of many different influences. There is so much much more and I love to discover new music.- Films:
Deja Vu, Juno, Man on Fire, Cidade de Deus, Leon, The Shawshank Redemption, Armageddon, Donnie Darko, Gladiator, The Great Escape, Finding Nemo, The Matrix, Fight club, Ice Age, Pulp Fiction. American Gangster, The Secret Life of Words, Blood Diamond, Bowling for Columbine.
Travel experiences
- Past trips:
Bahia Brazil, Chicago USA, Belgium, France (several towns), Spain, Ibiza, Italy.

Tip
Use your couchsurfing profile to promote BW, like this: http://www.couchsurfing.org/people/guidoz/ (not mine, example only) - Public transport:
...is amazing here. I live in an area I think is the best in London: Notting Hill, straight from the movie. Of course, I am not a movie star, and I am not pretentious, but living here is expensive. You don't have to buy me anything, but, I expect you to share whatever you have with me, as I will share with you.
I once had someone stay with me (on couchsurfing) who had just £1 a day left after her flight, but she never took anything for granted, and was incredibly grateful of every effort I made for her. The point? The right attitude is very valuable! And you don't need a lot of money to stay with me. For example, if you just laugh at my jokes and enjoy yourself, then I will probably love your company! :)- Restrictions:
-
No smoking,
No drugs - Other restrictions:
The better you make your request to stay with me, the more likely I am to say yes.
