About me

I used to be quite an active member on CS, but I decided to move to BeWelcome for quite a handful of reasons that we all know and loathe. Lately I haven't been hosting or crashing for quite a while, but this may change.

Once the culture of alienating individuality and totalitarising commonality [a.k.a. easy-minded open-going] inflates BW, as well, once it becomes a Thing (more than itself, more than free places to sleep and well-meaning travelers in the essential sense), we'll have to move somewhere else.

Lately I tend to forget my earlier lives, so let's not engage in this description thing too much. Let's meet and talk about it, if possible and there are no red flags in your profile or request, I'll give you a space to crash for sure.

Nu I live here.

Accommodation

yes, i can host
Max number of guests:
3
Maximum length of stay:

Keep on asking and see what happens.

I Live With:

From two to four housemated.

Please bring:

If it's winter - something to warm you/us from outside or inside. Otherwise, wha'eva'. Washing dishes, cleaning toilet, taking out the trash, bringing/buying cheese, coffee, sugar or any other stuff that costs money is nice, but strictly not obligatory. Kinda free-price system.

I can offer my guests:
A guided tour, A dinner.

An enclosed safe surface to sleep on, that's one. A hot shower, that's two. Food and drinks, provided we have any. Company, if friends and I have some time. If there's even more time - a walk around Kaunas and a few interesting places to see that one might not see right away. Wi-fi. Anything else? Ask.

I can offer my hosts:

Stories. Perhaps a bottle of this or that if I'm not completely skinned at the moment. Opinionated discussions. Human warmth, helping around the house, in some cases - a few inconveniences [what would you think was going to happen, accepting total strangers in your place just like that?!]

Public transport:

Almost in the centre of the city, but on a hill outside of it - walk down the hill and you have the bus and train stations, where buses, coaches and trolleybuses just keep on zipping past. One must be talented to miss those [but there are talented people in this world, so don't worry if you're one of them, we ok, you ok].

House Rules:

All fine with smoking, alcohol and them other things [i.e., their lighter variations], when shared in illusion of moderation. No curfew, you might also get a pair of keys if you're lucky, if you do anything inappropriate, saying sorry and repairing damage [if any] is ok. Don't feel like you're allowed less than us just because you're traveling past, voice your opinions and demand your autonomy :)

Oh yeah, but not all opinions. We're extremely intolerant towards homophobes, racists, sexists, nationalists/nazis, capitalists, and cops, lately – islamophobes. If you're any of those, piss off.
