I try to be a diverse person with an extremely wide range of interests. I try to understand the world around me and am an enormous fan of humanity, in all its imperfect glory.Adventure suits me fine, as does sitting at home with a great book. Whatever life throws at me. However, I enormously prefer creating things than consuming (except a good meal). If you have a project and noone else can help, ask me! Currently, I'm the chairman of the Board of Directors of BeVolunteer, an exciting opportunity to help out. Before that, I was a volunteer for Couchsurfing and I am one of the founders of opencouchsurfing.org.

Numerous trips to the US (lived there for a year), New Zealand and Australia, all over Europe. I had "the Africa experience" in Congo.

I don't remember the time when I didn't know Jeroen (literally, we go back to kindergarden). Having a friend like Jeroen for so long is nothing short of amazing and I feel truly blessed for it.

If you think yourself the best debater in the world, try this guy. Every time he speaks, it sounds like a speech. I'm fucking jealous! Other than that, he's efficient, relaxed and a great joke-teller.
