Too bad that even foreigns speak so nicely french ! Good thing is that's not only thanks to that that it was a good time togethers, mainly because Karl is someone that you can trust and easily share -good- time with. Keep going this way ;)

We met at the BW unconference in Antwerp.
Alban is one of the persons you meet, don't talk a lot to but still feel there are good vibrations. I would have loved to get to know him better - but two days of intensive discussions in workshops did not leave a lot of time for other talks. I'm pretty sure we'll meet again one of these days.

Do you know theses ads for this big battery company ? She's the same :) So, full of power, but also full of smile, full of ideas, full of good things and so on... no need to say more ! So don't hesitate to host or visit her, in order to give and share all theses positive things.

Firstly, you can find a lot of things to talk with her, secondly... don't miss to bring a good wine bottle, because she's cooking really great :) Even to me who is not a vegetarian like, it was a pleasure. Regardless that, I trust in her.

I hosted Alban during the unconference in Antwerp
Alban is a great guest. He knows how to cook, he does dishes and has good taste in music and movies too!
He's an interesting conversation partner, with a great sense of humour.

After hospitality-exchange, we have to think about movies exchanges ;-) It's not at all the only good part of Sven, he's also a good cooker, interesting to talk & volunteering (hehe) & party with. I hope that I will not forget too much things in this comment, but I've also really appreciated the way he haves take care of me when I've arrive in city (map, tram line & so on). If you're able to meet him in a non-too-busy time, don't hesitate a second!

Je connais Alban virtuellement de part son activité dans l'équipe de support de BeWelcome. Nous nous somme rencontré à Anvers en Janvier 2008
Alban est un très gentil garçon discret. S'il ne parle pas toujours beaucoup, lorsqu'il le fait il dit des choses très intelligentes.

In Antwerpen, for 1st Volunteers meeting
Jean-Yves was doing great things in HC, he's doing great things as well in BW and he's at the same time really motivated & motivating for others.
As a "frenchy", it was more natural to speak together, and I really appreciate fact that he's someone swimming in web-site code and also being able to take time for talks. At least but not least, he's living in an interesting part of France...
Jean-Yves a réalisé de bonnes choses pour HC, il en fait tout autant pour BW et tout en étant très motivé il est très contagieux.
Grâce à notre langue commune, nous avons pus parler naturellement, et j'ai surtout apprécié, bien qu'il soit très à l'aise dans les lignes de code, qu'il prenne tout aussi facilement le temps pour discuter. Le meilleur pour la fin, il vit dans un endroit très chouette de France...

We finally met at the unconference in Antwerp, after working together in the BW support team and communicating online only.
Alban is a rather quiet but really sweet, helpful and very modest person. He does have a lot of great ideas, so don't worry about having good conversations with him - you will get them :). I really like his considerate and helpful way of things!

In Antwerpen, for 1st Volunteer meeting
After volunteering with a nice support team coordinator, appreciating in same time her tips for English improvements -let's hope that I can-, it was time to me to know -for real- Claudia while also doing things about project. So, yes, I can conclude: she's serious, smart, as like as friendly & life full. I really appreciate to be able to volunteer with her.

Alban was travelling around LT :) and we met in Kaunas, when he was hosted in my friend home :)
Alban was interesting and interested in everythink in Lithuania. He had learn a lithuanian word before he arrived in Lithuania :). And he was talking in english very nice-with sweet French accent ;). So.... he is great guy ;D

It's mainly her who have (well) organized my journey in Kaunas, even if she was not able to host me. So it was a very good welcome, and I've apreciated to be able to meet her quite everydays, because she's full of thinkings/wonderings and due to that, it's quite easy to find something to talk about, even when it's rainning all the day ;-) Aciu !

Since he had stay a few days with us (my flatmate & me), we have share some good and simple times at home, and also to do a bit of visit in Paris.
He was very nice, with some little "patisseries" from Naple (even if there is no needs, that's nice (miam) ^^ )

Paris, Summer 07
I enjoyed staying with Alban at the end of a two month trek through Europe. On the first night I came back home, he whipped up a quick snack with Croissants and Cheese and Ham -- something I've not seen made before.
Alban is a great host. When I left he made sure that I left with written down instructions of how to get to the Airport, and what time the bus left ;)

In Paris, after his 2 month trip in Europe.
There is something hard to describe : We havn't talk a lot about deep of life, but, since the begin, I've feel him to be someone that I can trust. I'm sad for him to havn't been in a free time during time he was here.
Maybe a geek, like he say, but geeks who know how to cook _good_ (and curious) vegetables, that's rare ! Great !

We met in Brussels during a guided tour I organized
Alban is a quiet, friendly and respectful guy. Interesting to listen to and above all interested in what others have to say. He's also helping out on this website, so we are all thankful for that.
We didn't get the time to talk a lot (so many people showed up) but Paris is only 1 hour and 20 minutes away so I'm sure we'll meet up again soon.

There is a lot of good things to tell about him : about his languages skills, welcome smile... and, even if he had explained a lot of things during the stroll in the city, he have a lot more to tell ! But don't believe he's a talk-talk-talk man, he also listen carefully to everybody.
To conclude, it's, to me, people like that who makes this website with a good "spirit"

was hosted by him 5 days in Paris!
He was soooo nice to my girlfriend and me. there was no problem, he even prepared us delicious crepes for us, and let us sleep in his room!
And let alban show you where he works, thats also amazing! merci beaucoup, alban, et aussi a ton colloq!
