We met at the HC beach camp in Berlin 2005 for the first time. Or was it 2006? :)
Micha is one of the most hospitable people I know. I think he hosted more people in his beautiful flat in Berlin than all the hostels in his neighbourhood combined. :-P I am glad to be friends with him and his flatmates.

Can't remember where I met him for the first time. But we saw each other at the HC Beach Camp in Berlin 06, once in Hamburg and in Berlin again in summer 06.
I couldn't name a lot of persons better to work and be friend with. Not loud but easygoing, friendly, joyful and always willing to start something new. Hope we meet again soon..

We also met at the Unconference in Antwerp in 2007. Thanks to him and the other family members, our movie action was a great success!
Obviously a good careful and relaxed father. I never saw him in a bad mood that weekend and was happy to see him in the frontline debating about the future of BW. Encouraging!

Cicindela seems like a open and welcoming person you wanna stay with. We had only an evening to chat and get to know each other a little but I can already tell, she belongs to the good ones. We first met in Berlin I believe on a assembly of the greenpeace youth program. After years of common interest and action in environmental issues, we met again and again, on the road, in the city, out in the nature.
Markus has and will always be a great fellow of my life. He's curious and always searching for new things and experiences to discover. He's funny and maybe more spontanious than anyone I know and that's where the fun begins! Don't miss to meet him if you're up for a climbing trip, a walk on the (slack-) line or a night in a cave in the mountains. But Markus has a constant part aswell. We first met at a berlin beach camp several years ago and than numerous times in Hamburg and Berlin.
Micha is an awesome guy. Open minded, always up to rock something and really welcoming. I had lots and lots of great times with Micha, Merce and their friends and he quickly became a good friend of mine.

He host our Hamburg Invasion for one night
I had with Micha and Merce (and Lena) one of those uncommon magical moments when you meet people and it just clicks. It is probably more due to them than to me because they just make you feel immediately confortable with their company. I know it sounds like a cliché but I did feel as if we'd known eachother for ages and I do hope to see them often in Berlin. Or in Hamburg =)

Elsy and the Hamburg-crowd crashed my place in May 2009 and stayed for a night.

In Castellar de Santisteban, Spain in October 2008. He hosted us one night at his place.
Repu is fun and somehow up to all. This guy showed us what life is like between the olive trees, between old and older country men and young people that stay anyway. Gladly he just kept walking with us instead of going to his classes ;) We got presents, food and a taste of all that beauty out there in the mountains! We met in Sevilla in September 2008. She let me and merce123 stay over at her place.
Begona was very helpful to us, showed us around and let us taste wonderful vegetarian food. She was patient when we arrived to late and it didn´t matter how long we stayed. A cheerful character and a person you would like to see again. Feel invited our place one day!

Micha and his girlfriend were my guests in Hamburg, we met in Berlin and also traveled together to Belgium, where we spent a weekend with other BeWelcome activists.
Micha is one of these persons gifted with a sympathetic personality, you'll hardly can't resist; it's very easy to laugh in his company. On the other hand you might discuss Kafka and purely theoretical stuff with him. He's never superficial. He cares for ecology and human rights. Absolutely trustworthy. I regard him as a close friend.

We (me and merce123) met at the weekend of simon's birthday in Hamburg in November 2007 and were glad to stay at his place for a night.
So glad to have met him! His efforts really make a difference. One of the characters that you can instantly trust a lot. He'll give you great company for sure! I spent some days in Berlin, and Micha was the only person from BW that was available in this time. Initially I only wanted to drop in and then move on for the parties, but then I got stuck talking.
Micha is one of the design masterminds in this project (along with Matthias), and he has to suffer all my nasty nagging about little details... (I see this as part of my job) just now, with the new release, there is not much left for nagging - actually it's becoming a great site, and Micha has done a considerable part of this work!
He was really nice for meeting in person and talking. And I like his appartment in Berlin! And he made some tofu fry-lings for me (although I burnt them, if i remember right). Had nice music playing (argh, don't remember which), and nice guests were there at that time. I can only recomment to visit him!

I had met Micha online a few times before meeting him in person at the BeVolunteer General Assembly in Brussels (May 2007).
I was surprised how serious his approach was for modifying the statutes - a topic that most volunteers are not SOO keen on, to say the least ;-) - Travelling home on the same train, we had some time to talk and I could discover more positive about him. Definitely a very pleasant, uncomplicated, relaxed and gentle person that you should get to know. - Ah, he and his girlfriend were my \'almost\' hosts, because our train had been delayed for 1,5 hours, so it was not clear if I could get home. I did get home in the end, but it was nice of them to offer hospitality!
