About me

I've been part of CS and HC projects since 2008 and 2007, respectively. As CS is not anymore a No-Profit Corporation, I'm exploring other networks as this one.

My personal philosophy is:

Max number of guests:
2
Maximum length of stay:

I can exclusively host during weekends. Sorry, I'm too busy with work during weekdays. I'd prefer hosting for at least two nights (ideally Friday and Saturday), so we can interact more and know each other better. :)

You can send me your request one/two weeks in advance and I'll see what I can do for you. I don't mind planning, just my life became too hectic lately and I can only cope with a rather short-time schedule. I think I can confirm your stay one week in advance, but if I'm very busy it could be only 48-72 hours beforehand. So please, make sure you have a "B" plan.

I Live With:

Alone.

Please bring:

Sleeping bag and towels, I don't have many of them. I might be in the condition to provide you something, but please don't take it for granted.

I can offer my guests:
A guided tour, A dinner.

Interesting -or at least, I hope so!- talks, nice walks, shared meals, a pleasant stay at my place.

I can offer my hosts:

Smiles, chats, perhaps cook for you and so on.

Other information for guests:

My guests will stay in the living room or in the small bedroom as they prefer, where they can sleep on a sofa bed. It is perfectly fine for one person or two people that don't mind sharing it.

I live in a cozy area named "Font d'en Fargues" in Upper Barcelona, just among the hills and (literally) next to the lovely Parc de Guinardó.

Smoke is allowed just outside.

It would be better if you bring your own sleeping bag and towel(s). I don't mind letting my guests the keys, it's only that I don't have any copy to spare at the moment.

Generally I go to sleep around midnight/1 AM.

I can exclusively host on weekends.

If I'm not too busy with work, I can show you something around (i.e. visiting several sites of Barcelona together, or go hiking in the mountains or at the seaside - there are so many not-so-well-known places out of town that deserve a visit. On the contrary, Barcelona is absolutely overrated in my opinion).

If you have free time and want to meet for a "coffee or drink", I'm definitely available! :)

Public transport:

It takes 1h15-1h30 mins to reach the airport from my place (metro + metro/train/bus). There is a direct connection to the main station (Sants) by metro (line L5). Plaça de Catalunya is 30 mins away by metro. Of the main attractions, "La Sagrada Familia" and "Parc Güell" are walking distance (25 mins both, though in almost opposite directions), "La Pedrera", "Casa Battló" and "Plaça de Espanya" can be reached by metro (30, 35 and 40 mins respectively).

There's a bus stops 2 mins walk from my door (lines 39 and 117) and another big bus hub (5 mins walk downhill - lines 32, 39, 55, H6 and N6).

The closest metro stop are Guinardó/Hospital Sant Pau (L4, yellow line) and Maragall (L4 and L5, yellow and blue lines), 10 mins walk downhill.

House Rules:

Don't waste anything please (e.g. water, electrity, food and so on). If you are unsure about something, please just ask.
