Recent transplant from Couchsurfing where I have been active for many years hosting, surfing and participating to some meetings as well as organizing a few. I didn't like the website to become a corporation, so I hope to find a platform just as awesome here on BeWelcome!

A couch in my living room or bed-space in my room in a nice and cozy little apartment in an ancient house in downtown Locarno with a balcony and a view on the rooftops of the old town. I can tell you where to go and what to do in the area.

I love to discover how people live in other places, have discussions and share opinions. I can teach you stuff about the languages I know. I also like to cook from time to time if you'd like me to and as long as there is the right equipment.
- Other information for guests:

Especially in the summer, there is some noise from the restaurant terrace downstairs until about 11pm and, worse, some noise in the morning from the workers carrying cases of drinks. Might be slightly annoying to late sleepers, but it isn't that horrible either.
- Public transport:
From Locarno train station, you best walk (10-15 minutes, but part of it uphill). It's much easier to google the address up than to let me explain.
To enter my place you have to cross the terrace of the restaurant "Osteria Borghese": don't be afraid, just enter the wooden door, cross the terrace and go up the stairs. I'm on the top floor on the right hand-side.- Restrictions:
