my travel friend Rasmus is organisig free hugs event in Aarhus. Read his message below:
Do you need a hug? Or do you just find that the danish winter has been a little too long, a little too cold and a little too boring?
Then meet up on Saturday the 20th and get warm along with other happy people when we share free hugs in the city center of Århus between twelve and two.
We meet in front of Århus Domkirke at noon, and gives away hugs until we find it is time to call it a day, and go for a cup of coffee, hot chocolate or a beer on one of the nearby bars.
Who: Everyone
Where: In front of the entrance to Århus Domkirke
When: 12:00 o'clock on Saturday 20 February 2010
What: We give away free hugs (inspired by: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vr3x_RRJdd4)
What do you have in: Carton, permanent markers or an already finished sign reading: "Gratis krammer", "Gratis knus", "Free Hugs" or something similar.
What do you get out of it: You get a warm feeling in your body, a smile on your face and receives just as many hugs as you give away.
Remember to tell your friends and girlfriends of this ...
We did it in Odense in January, and handed out more than 150 hugs in 1½ hour. So hopefully it will be a success in Århus as well.
I am not in Aarhus at the time and cannot join :( but Rasmus promissed he would organise another meeting when it gets a bit warmer so if you cannot join this time, do not dispare!
