I want to create a pledge on http://www.pledgebank.com/ to encourage a commitment towards BW and its future. The proposed pledge is provisionally worded as: 

I pledge to give BeWelcome €5, put up at least two BW posters in public areas, promote BW on a blog or a forum and and invite two people to join BeWelcome ..before May 23rd, 2009.......if 50 people do the same.

OK,  let my know if I am delusional or barking mad. If not, let me know what you think of the wording and whether YOU would commit to that pledge.

Once I do this, can you put a small piece with a link to the pledge on the front page under News?

Given, I supect one or two fake sign up's, if we overshoot the 20 mark, all the better. Thanks for the support and to those who have alredy fulfilled their pledge even before the deadline.

Rephrase: While there is no such thing as a 'Fake' sign up, there is a probable doubt 'garsin' will follow through on the pledge given he has signed up on every single other pledge on the site as well!

We still need a two or more pledges before the 30th or the pledge fails!! Come on guys :)

Update: Sunday, 28th June

The pledge has been fulfilled (kudos to the 'magic' 20), but you can still sign up until the deadline on the 30th when an  email will go out about the best way to fulfill the pledge (taking pictures of your posters in public places,  how to donate the 5 Euro etc). Thanks to all, especially those that pledged. We might even think of 'new pledges' i.e putting a HTML quote on our CS/HC profiles about 'privelging requests through BW).
