My friend Paolo and I are attending the Semantic Web Summer School - sssw.org/2013 - in Cercedilla. We have to arrive a day early though and leave a day late due to flight times, and would love to take this opportunity to see some of Madrid. Our plane lands at 17.10 on Saturday 6th, and we must be in Cercedilla by 17.00 on Sunday 7th. We get back into Madrid from Cerecedilla at 16.00 on Saturday 13th, and need to catch our return flight at 21.25 on the 14th. We are PhD students at the University of Edinburgh, and very easy going. We can take care of ourselves and disrupt your life as little as possible... or we can hang out with you to see the sights together all day - we don't mind :) I have surfed before a few times and hosted a lot with CouchSurfing, but Paolo never has so I hope I can show him how great it is!

Two friends and I will arrive in London, touring the city for a few days before taking a train to Edinburgh. We will spend a week in the Highlands, then return to London for the remainder of the trip. A few major points on the itinerary include day trips to Bath, Windsor, and Stonehenge.
