we met at a couchsurfing picnic years ago. he was part of the legendary 2007 vienna people.
he took me on an amaaazing balkan road trip. i will always remember him pushing his car over the albanian border. not because it wouldn't start. but because it was nicer not to start it just to stop it a few meters further up the track. tom later hosted me in istanbul. he is a great person, kind, caring, open and really interesting to talk to and discuss all sorts of topics with... from eco tourism to inventing a language and mind over matter. he is a great guy and i consider myself lucky to know him.

He hosted me and my girlfriend in August 07 for several days, we met again on the beach, and now recently again in Tirana when i was travelling through with four other people...
Genti is one of the most hospitable people i've met, his approach to life is very laid back and his views are truly refreshing. Up for lots of fun as well as deep conversations. helping other people seems is his normal way of life. Too little time we spent this october, hope more is coming up soon!

i had really good conversations with tom. he always makes me feel interesting and welcome.
haven't seen him in a while though, probably we both haven't been to any events lately :-) getting old? haha!
