- Hobbies:
I love to travel and meet local people. But I also love to be by myself or with a few close friends. If you have a nice roof-top terrace with great view or find a nice wine in your cellar - don't dare not to tell and invite me! :) Apart from that I enjoy writing about sustainability, csr and climate change. I don't read enough books these days, some that I have enjoyed a lot include the Celestine Prophecy by James Redfield, the pillars of the earth by Ken Follet and Nachtzug nach Lissabon by Pascal Mercier.

Classical, Jazz, relaxed music, Johnson, Harper, Melua...
- Films:
Avatar, Lord of the Rings, many others (not a big fan of cinemas, though!)

Travel experiences
- Past trips:
My first great travel experience was New Zealand in 2003. Including shorter stops in Singapore and Australia I spent 8 months on that magic island and am looking forward to returning - soon :) Apart from that I have travelled and seen most of the European countries, have lived in England for a year and in Catalonia (Barcelona, St Cugat) for two years. About to move again ...

Florian is a nice and friendly guest and a person with a great enthusiasm. He visited me in Zurich - we had good time talking about BeWelcome and a lot of other things. I am pretty sure we will meet again at volunteer meetings or somewhere else.
