in my rented room in Venezia-Mestre, North of Italy, /for two nights with another couchsurfer from US/
Maddie and her friend Janet were very sweet. They are polite, learning how to use couchsurfing and bewelcome sites and they had with me their first experience! They are very tolerant, Madie is very very quiet and beautifull person, and it was beautifully fitting together with her friend Janet which is more Extroverted and conversational. I was very happy hosting them, thank you for your bravery for taking this first step and good luck with future experiences ! :)))) Always take good care of yourself! :)

I met him in his ice cream shop at first, than on the dinner of Gianni and after all he was hosting me
the only problem is, that he has no carrot ice cream...

In an artistic cech fairytale....
I had a pleasure to host Eliska for several days, sharing tasty dinners, meetings with other friends and venetian csurfers/bewecolmers.
In these days i had the chance to a discover a bit the Eliska's word: generous, sometimes shy, often SWEET and very cute person.
Eliska is deeply involved in an genuine cultural exchange.After met her i felt increased as a person.Thanks Eli !!!!

in his flat in Venice - Mestre
as you maybe know, it is very difficult for strangers to integrate easily in North Italian society. from my own life experience, North Italian can be quite arrogant, of course it is generation, but it is what I feel here very often. They can behave in extreem superficial and superior way, that one would just vomit from it. They can behave also in a bit rasist fashion. But the case with Gianni was complete oposite. at first, Giani is from south Italy, not from the North. he knew how to help me to integrate and he gave me a lot of useful tips. he invited friends and organisated few good dinners. when I was contacting Gianni, I wrote him directly that I will need to find my own room which is not at all easy /because it is national sport to take advantage of strangers here/ and his flatmate gave me even one phone number. than, I was having my own room and I was supposed to go there, but they cancelled it on last minute - and Gianni just called to his good friend Dario which was hosting me after Gianni. it was very sociable several days with Gianni. he is experienced with travelling and he is cooking good veg food and he is making beer. also, italians, they usually tend to only speak and nothing from what they tell is meant seriously. so Gianni was quite different because he was able to take practical actions which were usefull. I think he can give a lot to travellers. he is good and sociable and soft soul. p.s.: I am just painting. artist, I do not know what is. but Gianni is practical, I am not much connected to the matter of Earth :D

Eliska had a flash stay in Lyon in 2012 and I had the pleasure to host her on her trip. :)
Then, she hosted me when I came to Prag. We spend together a wonderful time, we shared a lot and everything was perfect, right time and right place to meet ! She is so generous and attentionate, her mind is really colorful !
I highly recommand to meet Eliska if she's not far from you !

in the house I stayed in Prague, Marie visited us for a while and once I was their host in Lyon
Marie and Vincent were very helpfull and welcoming. very relaxed and kind. i truly apreciate their care. Their explained me everything. even the way how to hitchhike from Lyon to Aix en provance....where I am now, by the way, good tips......be well and see you soon somewhere...;thank you
and than, Marie was our host in Prague after few months later and she was amazing guestt, I enjoyed very much spending time with her. she cooked very good indian food :D thank you for both, and see you again for sure MMarie :D

Eliska spent three nights in our place
Time spent with Eliska turned to be a wonderful experience. Despite her young age she is extremely mature, she is a person who has chosen consiously her way in life and she is trying to do her best to follow it. We enjoyed very much our talks about art and human's behavior. On many questions our opinions matched. Eliska is also a perfect guest - very polite and balanced person.

I have no words because Julia and her family were like an angels towards to me. Their hospitality is amazing. Their house is beautiful and they really care. They offered me internet, breakfats and food and treated me like a princess. They have also very beautiful and very very smart children. So you can feel like at home with them. We went on concert once which I enjoyed a lot and we had a lot of interesting conversation. I think because we have similar mind. Thank you them so so much for everything. Come on my exhibtiion in September 2012 in Galerie Karlovy Vary for young / it is in Letohradek near Karlovy Vary. Take care and thanx.

Eliska was very welcoming and a wonderful host. My friend and I stayed with her for 3 nights in Venice and she shared many stories and her beautiful artwork with us. She also showed us an AMAZING Gelato place! It was our first time couch surfing and she made us feel right at home. Thank you very much Eliska!
