About me

Through my life, I was trying to become traveler, scientist, engineer, and some others. I am none of them, but I do my best to keep balance.

I try to use physicist approach when disusing cultural/geopolitical things, and pretend to be engineer when I talk to physicist. When dealing with others subspecies of humans I try to pretend that I am not absentminded.

I travel a lot, and do my best to know culture and cuisine of places I visit. If you will put me in the mood, it is hard to stop me from telling stories about that.

I have some more comments on CS https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000316991, in case I do not look trustworthy.

My interests

Hobbies:

My interest range from artificial legs, through League of Nations influence on Middle East, to distributed control systems in physics experiments.

I love to discuss cultural and political issues, especially If you can tell me some I have not heard before.

Other then that, I love traveling and to hastily prepare for trips. Cycling from UK to PL? Lets buy new set of tires day before. Driving car to Kosovo? Lets pack up few hours before leaving home. Hitchhiking to Romania delayed because of weather? Lets make new backpack and backtrack. I love to solve last minute problems.

Books:

There are to many books I love to list them. Most recent discovery: The Kon-Tiki Expedition: By Raft Across the South Seas

Travel experiences

Past trips:

I have traveled with my family a lot as a child.
Most notable trips I had as an adult:
1)Traveling to Israel for physics competition. Marvelous land; breath taking architecture; open and interesting people; worst vodka so far.
2)Cycling home from school. London UK to Krosno PL in 18 days.
3)Driving (not that) old Volvo from Kraków PL to Marmaris TR for science conference with friends. We have been stopping often in Balkanas, and spend great time in in Turkey.
4)Driving (one year older) Volvo to Kosovo and Albania. You just have to go there.
5) Hitchhiking to to Romania and Moldova. I would not believe how much one nation can vary region to region in Romania.

Other then that I often have businesses trips around Europe, and to Japan.
In total, I have been in:
Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kosovo, Macedonia, Moldova, Republic of, Montenegro, Netherlands, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Turkey
And lived in:
England, Germany, Greece, Poland

Planned trips:

1) Short trip to Bergen and Oslo 18-22.03. I just have to see Kon-Tiki raft, and planes were so cheep. If you can host two people drop me a line
2) Business trip to Vienna and Munich 12-16.04. Have a free time and want to hang out for a diner? Drop me a line.
