About me

My girlfriend and I just moved to Knoxville, TN in August 2016. She's gearing up to pursue her doctorate of Audiology at the University of Tennessee, while I'm working and getting an idea about grad school myself.

According to some people in my references, I'm a sympathetic, serious, relaxed, down to earth, adaptive, and fairly educated person. I'm a pretty firm believer in karma, and I do my best to give out positive, friendly and generous vibes with hopes that I can count on some good luck in return.

So far so good.

I have a BA in Sociology from New York State's public honors college. I'm a big fan of indie rock/folk and love checking out live music. I play a little guitar and drums myself but I'm really more of a hobbyist than an aspiring musician. Music is definitely therapy to me--it's an emotional release to be able to play and sing (usually by myself).

I'm an independent person and a hard worker, and I love those traits in others. I'm drawn to funny, charismatic, opinionated, intelligent, socially graceful, culturally extrospective and introspective people. I really like people who are able to denaturalize their social world and its norms, makes for great conversation. I enjoy the company of both extroverts and introverts. I strive to make people comfortable, both socially and in my home. I, of course, love to travel and simply experience life.
