There are about 600 of them, but no one has ever counted them: Berlin's pubs offer more than beer and cigarette clouds. They are spaces with history and full of stories. But for how long? Who is there today? Finally, why? Drinking holes, boozers, taverns, saloons, bars, inns, public houses: every house has its name and its peculiarities –
some of them obvious, others hidden.
Inspired by a blog of fellow Natalia Irina Roman and her friend Roland Siegloff we have started this weekly Tuesday meeting to explore places and pubs most of you have never seen in their life before.

Am Kreuzberg
Am Kreuzberg is a very typical Berliner "Eckkneipe" - a kind that has beconme very rare in the destrict of Kreuzberg.
It's i located in one of those areas of Kreuzberg that haven't been destroyed so much in the 2nd World War - the former Tempelhofer Vorstadt. From here it is only a few meters to Victoriapark and the actual Kreuberg, a little hill located in it's middle.
Am Kreuzberg is neither an outstanding nor a very exiting location.
It's one of the normal average Berlin workers pubs with cheap beer, a lot of regulars and entertainment like darts.
To make it a surprise for the barkeepers and locals we won't be telling anybody in the bar that we will be coming! - As usual!
