Hello,

I am looking for getting in touch with people interested in forming/joining an ecovillage. I believe there should be some forum on the internet about it. Do you know of such place? forum? website?
I am willing to get in touch with people from all around the world, especially in Europe.

Hello! What came to my mind is the website of a German group which once in 3-4 years publishes a book-database with addresses and descriptions of ecovillages in Europe:

If you then select "links" in the top right corner, there are links of eco-villages. There are also links of other associations which may be of interest to you. There you will not find anything specifically about setting up an ecovillage, but maybe it is a starting point. Hope it helps.

Hey!

I created a website exactly for people like you! It is called ecobasa.org.

There are groups for planning ecovillages like you wanted and you can find interested people in your area or the whole world. You can look for them by interrests and skills. There is everything you need to get in touch and organize!

You can also find existing ecovillages and communities and see how they live and organize.

The page is non commercial, commercial free, free and open-source.

i am the only one working on it, so if you are interested, please get in touch, i am looking for help!

So good to hear, as this is my salary :)

Apart from drupal/html/css/webdesign, the wiki needs to be filled, and texts need to be written, explaining the idea and how the site works. And letters and emails send to communities explaining why it is a good idea for them to join. i would also like to point out some recomendations on hosting volunteers.

If you want i can send you a pdf you can print and give flyers to people and communities

(the basis of the site is in the u.s.a. so i guess they have the most detailed infos for over there)
