Hi guys

I could use some help testing the message system. Specifically on alpha. I've made some changes to core code that was creating a problem, so need to know if anything got broken because of it.

What to do:

- send some test messages back and forth. Both new messages and replies

- send some messages from a pending member account. Sending a new message from an account like this should NOT work. Replying from a pending account SHOULD work. And no, I don't want to get into the policy on this one.

Let me know of any and all bugs regarding the message system that you find.

do you want me to send you messages from alpha from my account?

wich pending member account should we use ?

just to check if I understood well. You just need us to use the message system on alpha (using our accounts ?) and trac the possible bugs ?

how many people do you need ?

Yeah, that's fine, the main point is that it has to happen from alpha. As for pending account, there isn't a shared one - so create one :)

And yeah, you just need to use the message system from alpha and see if it works. Any time I tinker with the system, there's the possibility that I mess something up and we don't have automated tests in place yet - hence, I need someone to check it :) It doesn't need more than a couple of people, really - just someone besides me and Matthias, to make sure we're not caught out by things we didn't think of.

I've updated the messages code on live - so keep your eyes open for bugs we didn't catch the first time :)
