Uppsala is the capital of Uppland and the fourth largest city of Sweden.

Tourist information

Destination Uppsala is the tourist office website and it is available in several languages. The physical office is located in Fyristorg 8, next to the river.

Transports

Uppsala and Upplands
UL provides both city (green buses) and regional (yellow buses and local train) transport. Their website provides and journey planner and the possibility to download timetables in PDF format.

From/to Uppsala
Arlanda Airport
Upptåget is the train connecting Uppsala to Arlanda terminal 5. It takes about 18 minutes.
Bus 801 by UL leaves from the central station and stop at Arland terminals 2,3,4,5. It takes roughly 40 minutes and it is cheaper than Upptåget.

Bus 4 You is another bus company, that offers the cheapest connection between Uppsala and Stockholm.
