Hey there,

I've never been volunteering abroad, but still I'm always wondering, why the hell one should pay to do volunteer work. Well I could understand that the traveling to the place has to be paid from the own pocket, but the rest should be free in my opinion. Somehow all this volunteer offers look like some hidden busines for me, because the work you do there seems not even be worth to give you accomodation and food fo free...

Actually this offer here in the forum would even qualify as spam in my eyes, but I've seen plenty of other offers in other places. But all of them asked for money which made me think about the whole idea...

Just some thoughts, maybe somebody can explain me this!

Cheers,

Dominique
