hey there

cool to see some activity here

 

not really "urban" but there's abandonned forts like Fort du Portalet although i dont think it is abandonned anymore

also there are very old Cathar castles some of them abandonned and explorable (like Roquefixade) and some very touristy but can give you the kind of exploring "high" that you're looking for (Montsegur is a must)
