i made a quick search and found 17 members in and around cork.
but all of them haven't been active within the last month. so i guess they hardly check your post here. i guess you have to motivate them by writing personal messages to them. i wouldn't consider it spamming, if you do it only once.....
you should try the search within "find members", if you use "search using map boundaries" you could even find members living in the villages around cork....
