Meeting time: 19:00
Location of the bar: Müllerstraße 113; 13349, Berlin-Wedding
Hello BeWelcome!
There are about 600 of them, but no one has ever counted them: Berlin's pubs offer more than beer and cigarette clouds. They are spaces with history and full of stories. But for how long? Who is there today? Finally, why? Drinking holes, boozers, taverns, saloons, bars, inns, public houses: every house has its name and its peculiarities –
some of them obvious, others hidden.
Inspired by a blog of Natalia Irina Roman and her friend Roland Siegloff we have started this weekly Tuesday meeting to explore places and pubs most of you have never seen in their life before.
Feel free to join us!
KiKi
KiKi is well known for Couchsurfing Berlin. It had been a location in one of the famous Spelunkentouren and also it had been the after-party place after last year's CS Wedding meeting at Tanzkreis in Volkspark Rehberge,
KiKi is a traditional corner pub in the Afrikanisches Viertel in Wedding. KiKi calls itself Die Partykneipe - the Party Pub. Actually there is never a lot of party going on there but I suggest we just take this name litrally and rock this place until it stops existing!!!
If the weather is good I would suggest to go for a nightswim at Plötzensee after the meeting (which is very close by).
PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO LEAVE YOUR SWIMSUIT AT HOME AS AT PLÖTZENSEE IT IS OBLIGATORY TO DO SKINNY DIPPING IN THE NIGHT!!!
To make it a surprise for the barkeepers and locals we won't be telling anybody in the bar that we will be coming! - As usual!
Come and join us for a unique Berlin experience!
Like every Tuesday!
