Meeting time: 19:00
Location of the bar: Scharnweberstraße 1; 10247 Berlin-Friedrichsberg (Friedrichshain)

Hello BeWelcome!

There are about 600 of them, but no one has ever counted them: Berlin's pubs offer more than beer and cigarette clouds. They are spaces with history and full of stories. But for how long? Who is there today? Finally, why? Drinking holes, boozers, taverns, saloons, bars, inns, public houses: every house has its name and its peculiarities –
some of them obvious, others hidden.

Inspired by a blog of Natalia Irina Roman and her friend Roland Siegloff we have started this weekly Tuesday meeting to explore places and pubs most of you have never seen in their life before.

Feel free to join us!

Zum Igel

It was 2:30 am on a Friday night when I passed by Zum Igel. Curious about if this place could be a pub for our weekly Tuesday meetings I stoped in front of the open door.
Not for long: One young lady came running out of Zum Igel inviting us inside. After a few moments of hesitation she had concinced ud.
What awaited us was a typical Berliner Eckkneipe with a quite young audience and 90´s rock music out of the speakers.
People directly joined us at the table to give us a warm welcome.
Still overwhelmed by that experience the decision for this weeks Tuesday meeting has been made!

To make it a surprise for the barkeepers and locals we won't be telling anybody in the bar that we will be coming! - As usual!

Come and join us for a unique Berlin experience!
Like every Tuesday!
