Last year I volunteered at an orphanage in Kathmandu and i would like to recommend the experience to anyone wanting to volunteer in Nepal. The small orphanage called CHEF(Child Helping Education Fund) with the objectives to provide housing, food, clothing, education and medical care in a loving home. The brother and sister who run the orphanage and the 10 children aged 4-12 are all lovely. If you are interested to help and to work as a volunteer you are most welcome to visit them for a day/week/month at there home which is located in a suburb of Kathmandu called Sunakothi, Lalitpur. Your financial and moral help is highly appreciated. There website is www.chefund.com.
