I also plan to go to the north, but to the "fjällhöga nord" of the song (of course you wrote you live in mountain, but my travel wil be farther).
After a first 3 weeks travel with a motorcycle to visit the southern third of Sweeden (from Malmö and Trelleborg to Mora), and a second trip to see Stockholm in winter, I steel need to do the third travel I thougth the year I discovered Sweeden. The idea is to go as soon as possible (according to my job) in summer after the polar circle to spend more than a hundred hours in the nature at the time the sun does not go down.
After several years waiting, I tried to do that last year from the south of France with a motorcycle at the begginning of July. But this motorcycle refused to see Sweeden again. After Electric problems in France, I finaly stopped for tjhe night around Hannover. And then, at the parking a lady told me I was driving on the rain with no front and no rear light, only blinkers were working. So, I went back to France the next day and finaly, for the last dizains of kilometers on the way to home, it was the turn of the engine not to work well !
Even if I have now a new motorcycle in the south of France, I decided to make first a more simple and direct travel up to the north of Sweeden (cheaper also) : to take the plane from Paris area where I work. According to go fetching the mortorcycle in the south of France (where it can stay indoors protected from the rain), it saves one full week.
So I go to kiruna by plane on the 26th of June. Then I will have just my feets on my backpack (except if there are bicycles to rent). And I go back to France on the 5th of July. That will not correspond to your date and to your way.
A longer travel up to the "big" north with my new motorcycle later in July with a visit of a French guy living in Solleftea and practising motorcycle (we started exchanging on a french speaking forum about sweeden, but also on SMS and one phone call last July) and why not a visit of you can be done another year.
Good luck for your group "Ride Share". There is quite few activity on Bewelcome Website, but it does not prevent making several things good.
