hi all,

i just activated a -highly unofficial- ;) gimmick. if you want shorter links to your bewelcome profile, wiki page, country etc. for example when posting a status somewhere or writing a note, you can use these shortcuts:

• bewelco.me/<member_username> - example: bewelco.me/planetcruiser
• bewelco.me/c/<country_code> - example: bewelco.me/c/RO
• bewelco.me/f/<forum_post_id> - example: bewelco.me/f/806
• bewelco.me/g/<group_id> - example: bewelco.me/g/267
• bewelco.me/w/<wiki_page_name> - example: bewelco.me/w/Meetings

@sitarane: glad you like it. :) currently the domain is owned by me, and this was just a spontaneous idea. if there is demand, i can donate it to bewelcome of course and we can officially use it for short-links.

but as for the official website address, i think we should stick with bewelcome.org, because it is more accessible and memorable for most people (i think).
