Profile links from Forum posts

Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here at BeWelcome, and I guess BeWelcome itself is pretty new, so everything is still being setup :-)

Well one thing I just noticed here on the forums is that if you click on someone's name - ie someone who has made a post here, it doesn't take you to their main profile, but rather some sort of separate forum profile - which is usually blank :-(  For example, if you click on my name then it  takes you to this page:

 http://www.bewelcome.org/tb/user/abrahamhaim

Which just says:

This is my main page. Have a lot of fun

...so not particuarlly useful.  So I think one of two things should be done to fix this bug - either the link should go directly to the main BeWelcome profile pages (for me at http://www.bewelcome.org/member.php?cid=abrahamhaim ), or the "Travelbook BETA" profile pages should be made such that they automatically include a large and prominent link to the member's main profile.

We have a forum tag called "New features"..
And I hope we will improve the forum anyway, so you can add and modify tags after a thread has been started.

In fact, we consider to move the entire "new features" talk into the bw forums, once the technology is ready.
No promises yet, however :)

This is indeed not as it should be. Thanks for pointing it out. It's already added to our todo list https://www.bewelcome.org/trac/ticket/38

would it be possible to have www.bewelcome.org/username. Does anyone know if we are assigned an identity code with our username as a mask like they do in CS. As there by it is easier to change the username as the id code is specific to the user. Does anyone understand what I am talking about?

@kiltboy: I'm pretty sure I know what you mean, e.g. if there's a possibility to have two ways to access a given profile (www.bewelcome.org/people/username vs. www.bewelcome.org/members.php?uid=465). It's quite unlikely that the username's used as primary key in the DB, so yes, every user most probably has a unique numerical ID which can be used to find his profile.
