How does the Chat work?

BeWelcome is working on an integrated Chat solution for our members. Since we decided that the Chat does not have top priority within the features that are being worked on, it might take us a while to set up a XMPP Server and configure it perfectly. As long as it does not work you can join our Public Skype Chat or join our IRC Channel #bewelcome on irc.freenode.net. Here you can find an IRC applet.
